thursday 5

Can't believe another week is almost at an end. And I officially go back to work Tuesday morning. Wow, the summer FLEW by, can't believe a new school year is here.

Anyway, seeing as it is almost the end of the week, that also means it is time for one of my fave bloggy things...

This weeks words are:

Happy

Joyous

Giggly

Lucky

Thankful

Happy: I'm happy because when I look at everything going on in my life right now, nothing is too bad or horrible that is causing me to be unhappy. My life is far from perfect but I don't have anything in my life causing me to be anything other than happy. (Obviously NOT happy I'm not with my sailor, but he loves me, I love him and having someone who love you and you love back can't make you anything but happy!)

Joyous: Penn State this weekend. 'Nough said. Refer to yesterdays post to understand what I'm talking about :)

Giggly: After saying goodnight around 10 last night, my sailor called me at midnight, simply because he needed to talk to me and hear my voice. I love those phone calls :) They make my heart all smiley and I have the giggly school girl laugh just thinking about it. Doesn't hurt that he makes me laugh ALL THE TIME!

Lucky: I'm lucky to have the most amazing sailor, who loves me more than anything and always talks about our future together. I'm lucky to have someone who cares so much about me and wants nothing more than to make me happy. I'm lucky to have my best friend and the love of my life all in the same person. And I'm lucky to have the most amazing and supportive family, especially my mom, who is just plain awesome! :)

Thankful: I'm thankful to have a job that I (usually) enjoy. Thankful that I'm healthy and that no one close to me is sick. Thankful to have amazing people surrounding me (although one surrounds me all the way down in South Carolina lol) and supporting me. Thankful to have close friends that are there for me in whatever I may need. Thankful to live in a country where I have the freedom to speak my mind, feel the way I feel, live the way I live, without the fear of being hurt or killed for it. I'm thankful to be me, and even though I have my down days, I'm thankful for my life and all that I have been given.

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and enjoys their Labor Day! And to those of you battling Earl, stay safe and you are all in my thoughts and prayers!
