Fabulous Friday!

Not all that much happened today, but what did happen was wonderful!

First, this time next week I will have been with my sailor for almost 12 hours :)
CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Second, I got my fabulous necklace from Betty over @ Gambizzle Jewels I love it and cannot wait to wear it next week! As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to get it and it would go perfectly with what I plan on wearing to the airport next weekend to go see my sailor!

I'm wearing white shorts/capris (I haven't decided yet lol) and this really cute tank top

except I have it in navy blue (but they don't have it anymore in blue and I didn't feel like taking it out of my closet to take a pic lol). So I'm excited because my necklace will go perfectly! :)

Third, I went out to dinner with my mom and my aunt (who is like my second mom). My mom is a single parent so I am extremely extremely close with my family, especially my aunt, they were all around as I was growing up. My mom, my aunt, my grandmother and grandfather are/were my biggest supporters. My grandmother passed away 11 years ago this passed July and I still miss her every second.

Dinner was absolutely delicious! We went to an Italian restaurant that we've been to before, or that we thought we were going to, only to realize that the restaurant had changed hands and it is now a new one. But it was sooooo good! I had a zucchini flower stuffed with 3 different types of cheeses, a salad with goat cheese (I know a lot of people usually don't like it, but I LOVE it!), flat pasta with asparagus and shrimp in a cream sauce, a really yummy cappuchino and chocolate gelato. I wanted zeppole's and you really can't find those except at a carnival, but unfortunately they ran out. But my gelato was still yummy! Also, our waiter was awesome with the coolest accent (sounded English but with something else too. Wish I had asked!) Then we walked around by the water. It was an awesome night with 2 of my favorite people and great conversation. We talked about a lot of things, including some things that I had been keeping to myself because I didn't want to upset/rile my mom and aunt, something someone had said a bunch of months back that I thought only I had heard. Little did I know that my aunt had too but I'm so glad I finally said something. It had been this weight on my shoulders for the longest time and something that had really bothered me. They both told me that I should have told them sooner and not have kept it in but they were glad I finally let it out. And boy did I! I love hanging out with the 2 of them. We do a lot together and it's always so much fun! :)

Now I'm off to watch some tv and wait for my sailor to call me after he gets back to his room from his 2 pm-10 pm watch. As much as I hate us being apart right now, I love my life and having him in it! I have a great mom and aunt (and other family and friends) to keep me busy and happy while we're apart and I have the most amazing boyfriend that I could have ever asked for who makes me so happy even though we are 700+ miles apart at the moment. So the waiting game until we're together is a little more bearable :)
