Thursday Five

One of the lovely blogs I follow does something called Thursday Five, so I thought I would try it!

This weeks words are:

ecstatic: of, relating to, or
marked by ecstasy

gay: happily excited : merry

giddy: lightheartedly silly

happy: meaning: experiencing pleasure,
satisfaction, or delight

content: feeling that oneΚΌs needs
or desires have been met
Ecstatic: I leave to see my sailor a week from tomorrow and I want to start packing already! We have a lot of fun things planned and I will hopefully get to meet some of his friends, which I've been looking forward to doing it. I cannot wait to see him!
Gay: My best friend from college called last night to talk and I loved it! She said I had been on her mind all day so she called n her way home from work; funny enough, she was on mine too! I haven't talked to her in about a week and a 1/2 so it was so nice to catch up! She's one of my favorite people in this world :)

Giddy: This goes along with #1 and #2. I love the phone calls last night with both my sailor and my bff. All we did was laugh (which is how it usually is) but especially with my bff. Some of the stuff we came up with last night had us both in tears it was so funny! I love those kinds of conversations!

Happy: I have the best family. I love them. My aunt sent me the recipe for peanut butter filled chocolate cupcakes that I plan on making this weekend. So it made me happy to not only talk to her (I do at least once a week) but also that she knows me so well she knew that I would want that recipe! :)

Content: I probably don't normally think that I am a content person because I don't necessarily have everything I want at the moment (being with my sailor, my own classroom) but when I really sit and look at it, I am in a way. I have my sailor, may have distance between us right now, but he's still there for me as best he can be over the phone. He loves me more than anything and if that doesn't make me content I don't know what will! I have a job, in a school, working with kids. Not my own room, but I have a job, so in reality I can't complain. And my family, everyone is happy and healthy and there is nothing more that I could ask for. So in a round about way, I am content I just had to look at it from a different way.

Happy Thursday!
*Just a little side note: my sailor said 2 things recently that made me really excited and have a huge smile. He was so excited to tell me that when we get married I get my own military id. Which I already knew but that fact that he shared that with me all excitedly was so cute! And, he is hoping to be in NY state for his last school (he's starting his 2nd 6 month school in about a month and his 3rd, and last, 6 month school can either be in SC where he is now or in NY). We're from NJ so we want NY and pretty much anyone who volunteers to go up there gets it because they never have enough going so they have to "voluntold" people to go. Anyway, he was originally planning on maybe getting a house/apt with a friend or 2 so he wouldn't have to spend all his BAH and we could save it. But he said last night that maybe he won't do that and we can just get an apt together. Now, we're planning on getting married at the end of 2011 so it's not a huge step in our relationship, but I thought it was so cute that he said that. It may not happen with my job and my family (trying to stay at home as long as I can for my mom since once we're married I could be across the country). But just the thought of it and him saying it, made me happy! So this kind of goes along with my Thursday Five, but just added it after :)
