Productive

So I was EXTREMELY productive yesterday (Tuesday). Monday, not so much! But some stuff happened Monday night that kicked my butt into gear. I did about 20 loads of laundry, all of mine as well as my families, all day. Literally one load was going in as one was going in the dryer as I was folding another. It was non-stop but now it is ALL done (and all put away!). I have a tendency to let it sit in a pile on my dresser until I get the urge to put it away or until I just wear all the clothes in the pile so they just end up back in my basket again. I'm trying to change these little things about myself that I don't like so much. I also cleaned a large part of my room, mostly my desk, which seriously needed it. Overall, I had a good day. I've been off work a couple of weeks, I'm in the limbo between summer school teaching and the new school year to begin, so I'm not doing a whole lot of anything. I like it the first week, now, not so much. I'm actually ready to get back to work, to be doing something, and to be making money again (yay! some things that I need to be saving for!)

The REALLY GOOD news is that I get to go see my sailor next weekend! He is currently on T-track (and for those non-Nukes he's on hold between A school and Power School, which is his 2nd 6 month school). He started off just doing a whole lot of nothing but now he is on watch call (which sucks, especially the 12 hour watches because it doesn't leave a lot of time for us to talk during the day, have to wait for his days off to really have long conversations). Such long days make him tired and I feel bad, I wish I was there to take care of him so he wouldn't have to worry about anything when he came home. But, soon enough I guess (but not as soon as I like). But I get to go see him next weekend because he has off from watch. I'M SO EXCITED! I CAN'T WAIT! Granted he was just home for leave not all that long ago, but we wanted to see each other one more time before he starts Power School (going to be a lot of work) and I start work again. Because we may not see each other again until he is home for Christmas. And we both have time off so it was just perfect timing (plane tickets were a little bit more expensive than we would like, but as I always tell him, he's worth it). So I'm ready to pack but I still have a little over a week. Probably should put it off just a little bit longer :)
